while andy was called to the czech prague mission, he didn't actually serve there. the mission included both the czech republic AND the slovak republic. andy happened to serve in slovakia, along with taylor and krace, which is who we tagged along with on this trip.
a little history lesson here: the two countries were one, czechoslovakia, until 1993 when they split after communism fell. the two countries actually speak different languages but they are similar enough that andy, taylor and krace were able to navigate us around.
anyway, prague was gorgeous. i was enthralled with the architecture, cobblestone streets and history. not just in prague, but in all of europe! unfortunately, we only had one day in prague. we spent the day walking through the city and touring the mission home. sorry in advance for the huge photo post but this city was just so beautiful i couldn't help myself! it was a good start to our vacation.
